Have you noticed what a different world it is when the sun is out?
It seems Britain has a smile on its face with Summer 2013 seemingly the first real summer we’ve had for several years.
Slate grey skies and rusting barbecues have been the norm at this time of year in recent times, but now with this heat wave continuing the beaches are packed, the paddling pools are inflated and there’s barely an ice cream left in the fridge.
The Met Office are predicting too that the good weather is going to last. The temperatures will remain in the high 20s for the rest of this week, and incredibly the long-term weather forecast is looking good!
OK, the weathermen are notorious for their forecasts, but the rest of July looks like being a scorcher, which will no doubt have the statisticians analysing the mercury levels. August looks very promising – we can keep our fingers crossed.
It means that relaxing reading a book in the garden is a must, with the sultry short sleeve evenings. However, with the sun’s glare there is a good chance you could strain your eyes.
That is unless you invest in a pair of sun readers. For those of you unaware exactly what these are, they are sunglasses with UV protection with reading glasses strength lenses +1.00,+1.50,+ 2.00,+2.50, or +3.00. This means you can use reading glasses outside and have the safety protection from the suns glare. These are as just as important as the sun lotion in these exceptional times.
At Tiger Specs’ we’ve sourced an impressive range of sun readers, not easily found in your local chemist or supermarket. No waiting at Tiger Specs either as these can be dispatched 1st Class same day if ordered before 4pm.
We know that affordable fashion never goes out of style and with our funky European influenced sun readers no matter how hot the mercury goes you will still be the coolest of the cool.
Happy reading in the sun everybody.
